Channel Islands Powder Rosettes

Overview

Dudleya greenei, or Channel Islands Powder Rosettes, is an evergreen succulent native to the Channel Islands off California’s coast. Its fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves form powdery rosettes up to 12 inches wide, displaying hues from silvery-green to red. Thriving in USDA zone 9-11, it prefers full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Minimal watering is needed, making it ideal for drought-tolerant landscapes and rock gardens. Keep protected from frost to preserve its ornamental appeal.
