Overview

The San Diego Dudleya, or Dudleya edulis, is a resilient succulent perfect for xeriscaping in Zones 9-11. Its rosettes of fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves reach up to 6 inches wide. Come spring, it flaunts stems of 10 to 18 inches topped with small white flowers. This drought-tolerant native requires well-drained soil and thrives in full sun to partial shade, minimal water post-establishment, and is an alluring addition to any water-wise garden.
