Overview
Winter's Bark, Drimys winteri, is an evergreen tree native to South America, notably appreciated for its aromatic, cinnamon-scented bark and leathery, lance-shaped leaves. It reaches up to 20-60 feet in height and spreads about 15-20 feet. Small, creamy-white flowers bloom in late spring to early summer, providing contrast against dark green foliage. Prefers well-drained, acidic soil and partial shade to full sun. Hardy to USDA Zone 7.
