Design with this plant

Overview

Mountain Pepper (Drimys lanceolata) is an evergreen shrub, reaching heights of 10-20 ft with a spread of 5-10 ft. It features lance-shaped, leathery leaves and small, star-like white flowers that bloom in spring, followed by peppery red-black berries. Prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial to full shade. Hardy in zones 7-10, it's ideal for adding structure and year-round interest to shaded garden areas.
