Dracaena draco, commonly called Dragon Tree, is an iconic, slow-growing evergreen. It reaches up to 20 ft tall with a striking umbrella-like canopy up to 10 ft wide. This sculptural tree presents gray bark, green sword-shaped leaves, and in mature specimens (>10 years), small white flowers. Its drought tolerance and dramatic silhouette make it an excellent focal point in xeriscapes. Zones 9-11; prefers full sun to partial shade.
