The Dicentra hybrid 'Rubies and Diamonds' is a compact perennial with ruby-red blooms and finely cut blue-green foliage. It grows 12-14 inches tall and 16-18 inches wide in a tidy mound. Best in part sun to sun, it prefers well-drained soil and average water, avoiding heavy clay or wet sites. Deer resistant and suited to borders, containers, and cut flowers. Hardy in USDA Zones 3-9.
