Cupressus Arizonica
Overview
The Arizona Cypress (Cupressus arizonica) is a drought-tolerant conifer with a pyramidal growth habit, reaching up to 40-50 feet in height. Its blue-green foliage and reddish-bark provide year-round visual interest. Thriving in USDA zones 7-9, it prefers full sun and well-drained soils. With its compact size of 15-30 feet in width, it serves as an excellent windbreak or privacy screen in southwestern landscapes.
