Design with this plant

Overview

The Leyland Cypress (Cupressocyparis x leylandii) is a fast-growing conifer, ideal for privacy hedges and screens. Flourishing in full sun, it reaches heights of 60-70 feet and spreads 15-25 feet. Hardy in USDA zones 6-10, its dense foliage offers year-round greenery with minimal care. Space trees 6-10 feet apart for a tight hedge. Tolerates a range of soil types but requires proper drainage.
