Crocus
Crocus Vernus
Overview
Crocus vernus, or Spring Crocus, is a herald of spring with cup-shaped, vibrant flowers in purple, yellow, or white. Reaching 3-6 inches in height, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Plant corms 3-4 inches deep and 2-3 inches apart. This low-maintenance perennial is ideal for naturalizing in lawns and under trees, offering early-season nectar for pollinators and a splash of color to awakening gardens.
