The Broad-leaved Cockspur Hawthorn, Crataegus persimilis 'Prunifolia', is a deciduous tree with a broad, rounded crown, maturing at about 25 feet tall and 25 feet wide. Noted for its glossy, deep green foliage, white flowers, and red fall berries, it provides year-round interest. Its stout thorns and dense branching make it an excellent barrier plant.
