The English Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna) is a deciduous, single-seeded hawthorn species growing up to 15-20 feet tall with a similar spread. Renowned for its dense, rounded canopy, it features clusters of fragrant white flowers in late spring, followed by red berries and deeply lobed, dark green leaves.
