Australian Fuchsia
Correa Pulchella
Overview
The Australian Fuchsia, Correa pulchella, is an evergreen shrub distinctive for its bell-shaped crimson blooms, attracting hummingbirds and beneficial insects. Flourishing in USDA zones 9-11, it reaches 3-5 feet in both height and spread. Preferring partial sun to light shade, this drought-resistant native thrives in well-draining soil. Its low maintenance and compact habit make it ideal for foundation plantings and borders in residential or commercial landscapes.
