Evergreen Clematis (Clematis armandii), not to be confused with Clematis virginiana which is deciduous, is a vigorous climber with leathery, dark green leaves. Fragrant, star-shaped white blossoms emerge in spring, providing a stark contrast to its foliage. Mature plants can reach 20-30 feet in length and 3-4 feet in width, ideal for trellises or walls. Thrives in well-drained soil, partial shade to full sun, hardy up to USDA zone 7.
