Rock Clematis
Clematis Columbiana
Overview
The Rock Clematis (Clematis columbiana) is a perennial vine, thriving in full sun to partial shade. This native beauty, reaching 3-9 feet tall, showcases small, nodding, bell-shaped violet flowers with four sepals, blooming May-July. Adapted to well-drained, loamy soils, it's perfect for rock gardens or trellises. Zones 4-9. Plant with caution; all parts are toxic if ingested. Pair with low perennials to add vertical interest to your landscape.
