A resilient groundcover, Snow in Summer (Cerastium tomentosum 'Yo Yo') features woolly, silver foliage with blossoms akin to flakes of snow. This full-sun perennial spans 12-18 inches wide and grows up to 6-12 inches tall. Its cascading habit and drought tolerance make it ideal for rock gardens and borders. Charming white flowers bloom in late spring and early summer, attracting butterflies while being deer resistant. Zones 3-7.
