Orange Or Brown Sedge

Overview

Carex testacea, commonly known as Orange or Brown Sedge, is a graceful ornamental grass with fine, arching olive-green leaves that turn a striking orange-brown hue in fall. Thriving in zones 6-9, it reaches 18-24 inches in height and 24 inches in width. Ideal for mass planting, it prefers well-drained soil and full to partial sun. Its texture adds contrast to gardens and is drought tolerant once established.
