Overview
The Rusty Sedge, Carex subfusca, is an evergreen perennial grass-like plant with fine-textured, arching blades. It typically grows 6-12 inches high and wide. This sedge prefers part-shade to full-shade and moist, well-drained soil. It features brownish flower spikes in spring, adding subtle interest.
