Overview
The Japanese Grass Sedge, Carex morrowii, is a decorative, clump-forming evergreen sedge, thriving in U.S. zones 5-9. It features stiff, variegated leaves up to 18 inches long and about 0.5 inches wide, gracefully arching to a height of about 1 foot. Prefers partial to full shade and moist, well-drained soils. Ideal for border edges and shaded underplanting, Carex morrowii offers year-round interest with minimal maintenance.
