White Tinged Sedge

Overview

Carex albicans, commonly known as White Tinged Sedge, is a clump-forming perennial grass-like plant. It flourishes in zones 3 to 9, thriving in partial to full shade. With fine-textured, arching green foliage accented by white margins, it reaches up to 12 inches in height and spreads 8 to 12 inches. Well-suited for ground cover, it prefers moist, well-drained soils. This sedge is deer-resistant and offers a low-maintenance option for naturalistic designs.
