Hartwegs Sundrops
Calylophus Hartwegii
Overview
Calylophus hartwegii, or Hartweg's Sundrops, is a vibrant perennial native to the Southwest. It flaunts buttery yellow, cup-shaped flowers that bloom spring through fall, providing long-lasting color. This drought-tolerant plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, reaching a modest height of 12-18 inches with a similar spread. Its low maintenance and deer resistance make it a practical choice for xeriscaping and sunny borders.
