Buffalo Grass
Buchloe Dactyloides
Overview
Buffalo grass (Buchloe dactyloides) is a North American native, prized for its low maintenance and durability. This warm-season perennial, growing 4-6 inches tall, thrives in full sun, providing a fine-textured, dense, blue-green turf. It's drought tolerant, requiring minimal watering, and is resistant to most pests. Ideal for hardy, eco-friendly lawns with less frequent mowing, this grass adapts to a wide range of soil types.
