Overview
The Sicklepod Rockcress (Boechera sparsiflora) is a perennial native to western North America. It features slender stems reaching up to 3 feet, adorned with sparse, lance-shaped leaves. In early spring, it blooms with clusters of small, four-petaled yellow flowers, later producing distinctive sickle-shaped seedpods that add textural interest. Ideal for rock gardens or xeriscapes, it thrives in well-drained soils and full sun to light shade conditions. Hardy and low maintenance.
