Overview
The Baptisia hybrid 'Vanilla Cream II' is an upright false indigo with dark charcoal stems and 16-18 inch panicles of creamy white late-spring flowers, followed by ornamental seed pods. It matures to about 42 inches tall and 36 inches wide. Grow it in part sun to full sun with average to poor, well-drained soil and average water; it becomes moderately drought tolerant once established. Hardy in USDA Zones 4-9.
