Desert Broom, or Baccharis sarothroides, is a hardy, drought-tolerant shrub native to the arid climates of the American Southwest. It reaches up to 6 ft in height and spreads to 4 ft. This fast-growing, evergreen plant thrives in full sun and well-drained soils, producing dense clusters of tiny, cream to white flowers in fall. Ideal for xeriscaping, it provides erosion control and habitat for wildlife.
