Overview
Aubrieta deltoidea, or Common Aubrieta, is a vibrant, low-growing perennial suitable for rock gardens and borders. This groundcover boasts lush evergreen foliage with small, delta-shaped leaves. From mid to late spring, it erupts in a profusion of purple, pink, or blue four-petaled flowers. It thrives in full sun to partial shade, requires well-drained soil, and typically spans 6-12 inches with a 12-24 inch spread. Hardy in Zones 4-8.
