Gold Coin Daisy
Asteriscus Maritimus
Overview
Compact Gold Coin (Asteriscus maritimus) thrives as a low-maintenance evergreen perennial in USDA zones 9-11. It boasts bright yellow daisy-like flowers against dark green foliage with a mature size of around 1 foot in height and 2 feet in spread. Its drought tolerance makes it ideal for rock gardens and xeriscaping, requiring full sun exposure. Blooms appear in spring and summer, attracting butterflies and providing vibrant ground cover.
