Overview

The Purple Dome New England Aster, Aster novae-angliae 'Purple Dome', enchants with profuse, vibrant purple daisy-like flowers. Its compact form, reaching up to 18 inches high and 24 inches wide, makes it a perfect front-of-border perennial. Blooms late summer to fall, providing a late-season nectar source. Thrives in full sun, prefers well-drained soil. Hardy in Zones 4-8, it's a low-maintenance choice that dazzles in mass plantings or mixed beds.
