Overview
The Whiteleaf Manzanita (Arctostaphylos viscida) is a striking evergreen shrub, known for its smooth, red-barked branches and pale green, oval leaves with a sticky texture. Thriving in USDA zones 8-10, it reaches 3-6 feet in height and width. Late winter blossoms into bell-shaped, pinkish-white flowers, followed by red berries. Prefers well-drained soils, full sun to partial shade. Drought-tolerant once established, it's ideal for xeriscaping or rocky, sloped terrains.
