Overview

The Big Berry Manzanita (Arctostaphylos glauca) is a striking evergreen shrub, native to California. It features smooth, red-tinged bark and leathery, bluish-green leaves. Growing 6-10 feet tall, it flaunts large, pinkish-white flower clusters in winter-spring which develop into sizable red berries. Drought-tolerant and sun-loving, it thrives in well-draining soils. Ideal for adding structure and attracting wildlife to xeriscaped gardens with its low-maintenance and fire-resistant qualities.
