Overview

The Little Sur Manzanita, or Arctostaphylos edmundsii, is a low-growing evergreen shrub, native to California. It reaches 1-2 feet in height and spreads 6-10 feet wide. With its dense foliage and rust-colored bark, it adds year-round interest. Small, bell-shaped pale pink flowers bloom in winter-spring, attracting pollinators. Prefers full sun, well-draining soil, and is drought-tolerant once established, making it an excellent choice for water-wise landscapes.
