Aquilegia canadensis, commonly known as Wild Columbine, is a perennial native to North America. It features distinct, nodding red and yellow flowers with backward-pointing spurs, blooming April to June. Thriving in USDA zones 3-8, it prefers partially shaded areas and well-draining soil. At maturity, it stands 1-3 feet tall with a similar spread. Attracts hummingbirds and beneficial pollinators; ideal for woodland or naturalized gardens. Resistant to deer and drought.
