Overview
The Japanese Anemone (Anemone hupehensis var. japonica) graces gardens with its elegant, saucer-shaped blooms atop wiry stems, reaching heights of 24 to 36 inches. Flowering from late summer into fall, its blossoms are typically a soft pink or white, complemented by dark green, palmate foliage. This perennial prefers partial shade and well-drained soil, spreading 18 to 24 inches wide. Ideal for borders, it offers late-season charm and attracts pollinators. Zones 4-8.
