Fan Aloe

Overview

Aloe plicatilis, commonly known as Fan Aloe, is a distinctive succulent tree, native to South Africa, renowned for its fan-like arrangement of leaves atop perpendicular branches. It typically reaches 5 to 10 feet tall and spans 4 to 6 feet wide. This unique aloe presents reddish-orange blooms during late winter to spring. Prefers well-drained soil and full sun. Hardy to about 30°F, it's water-wise and requires low maintenance. Ideal for accentuating xeriscapes or rock gardens.
