Golden Trumpet, Allamanda

Allamanda Cathartica

Design with this plant

Overview

The Allamanda cathartica, commonly known as the Golden Trumpet, is a vibrant, evergreen climber. It showcases glossy leaves and stunning trumpet-shaped, golden-yellow flowers measuring up to 5 inches in diameter. Thriving in USDA zones 9-11, it prefers full sun and well-draining soil, reaching heights of 15-20 feet. Regular pruning maintains shape, and caution is advised as sap may cause skin irritation. Adds a lush, tropical flair to any landscape.
