Akebia Quinata
Overview
Akebia quinata, the Five-Leaf Akebia, is a semi-evergreen climber known for its quintet of leaflets on each palmate leaf and fragrant, purple-hued blooms. This twining vine rapidly grows to 20-30 ft., thriving in zones 4-8. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil, offering ornamental value and screening potential.
