Design with this plant

Overview

Native Bentgrass, Agrostis pallens, is a versatile perennial grass indigenous to western North America. Thriving in full sun to partial shade, this low-maintenance grass prefers well-drained soil, reaching 12-24 inches in height. With fine-textured, bright green blades, it forms a dense turf tolerated by occasional foot traffic, ideal for sustainable lawns and meadow gardens. Drought-tolerant once established, it reduces the need for excessive watering.
