Overview
Utah Agave (Agave utahensis) is a striking succulent native to the Mojave Desert. This hardy plant features rosettes up to 2 feet in diameter with narrow, spiny gray-green leaves. It thrives in zones 5-9, preferring full sun and well-drained soil. After 8-15 years, it blooms once with a spectacular 10-15 foot tall spike, then perishes. Ideal for xeriscaping, it requires minimal maintenance and water once established.
