Lily Of The Nile
Agapanthus Hybrids
Overview
Lily of the Nile (Agapanthus hybrids) enchants with globular clusters of trumpet-shaped, periwinkle to deep blue blooms atop 2-4 ft tall stalks. This perennial's strappy, evergreen foliage creates lush ground cover 18-24 inches high. Thriving in USDA zones 6-11, they prefer full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Beautiful as a border accent or in mass plantings, they offer a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant splash of color mid-to-late summer.
