Florida Maple

Overview

The Acer floridanum, or Florida Maple, is a deciduous tree revered for its beautiful foliage that turns bright yellow to red in fall. It grows 20-30 feet with a canopy spread also up to 30 feet, preferring zones 5-9. This maple thrives in moist, well-drained soil and partial to full sun. Its moderate growth rate and compact size make it an ideal choice for urban landscapes and small garden spaces.
