Chenille Plant
Acalypha hispida
Overview
The Echeveria pulvinata, or Chenille Plant, is a succulent featuring plush, silver-green rosettes reaching up to 5 inches in diameter. Velvet-like hairs cover its fleshy leaves, enhancing its tactile appeal. This drought-tolerant plant thrives in well-draining soil and requires full to partial sunlight. Ideal for xeriscapes, it creates visual interest with its ornate textures and produces orange-red flowers in spring, adding a vibrant contrast. Space 6-9 inches apart for best effect.
