Weeping Acacia
Acacia Pendula
Overview
Weeping Acacia (Acacia pendula), a drought-tolerant Australian native, showcases a graceful, weeping habit. Its silvery-gray foliage reaches up to 20 feet in height and spreads 15 feet in width. This evergreen tree produces yellow, rod-shaped flowers amidst its fine leaves. Preferring full sun and well-drained soils, it adds a delicate texture and elegance to xeriscapes while providing minimal shade. Hardy to USDA Zone 9, it requires little maintenance once established.
