Silver Wattle
Acacia Dealbata
Overview
The Silver Wattle (Acacia dealbata) is a fast-growing evergreen, reaching up to 90 feet in height, with a 20-40 foot spread. Its feathery, blue-green foliage and bright yellow, fragrant flowers enliven gardens in USDA zones 8-11. Preferring full sun and well-draining soils, it's drought-tolerant once established. This tree's striking winter-to-spring blooms add warmth and color, making it an excellent specimen or screening plant.
