Mulga
Acacia Aneura
Overview
Mulga, Acacia aneura, is a resilient evergreen shrub or small tree, reaching up to 26 feet tall. It boasts hardy, grey-green phyllodes and vibrant yellow flowers. Adaptable to arid environments and poor soils, it thrives in USDA zones 9-11. Its dense form and low water needs make it ideal for xeriscaping. Space plants approximately 10-20 feet apart to accommodate their canopy spread in mature landscapes.
